In the meantime, we have a few tips to help you get started in the right direction.
Set Due Dates for payments and payables
This will keep you from missing payments and keeping them all in order. These payments could be payroll taxes, bills, and payroll.
Mantain consistent records
This sounds easier than it actually is for some. But keeping all the records consistent will make your accoutant love you, come tax time. Also just in case you need to look up a particular record, it should all be there.
Keep proof of transactions
Receipts, invoices, sales slips, deposit slips, etc. All of these slips should be stored and organized for easy reference. It is also a great help come tax season!
